Mentor Coaching 

This service is designed for elite endurance athletes – at the national or international level – who plan and execute their own training but want an experienced coach as a sounding board and analytical support in their development. You already have structure and a clear direction in your athletic journey, but seek a trusted and knowledgeable partner to refine the details and avoid common pitfalls.

The service provides a professional outside perspective, continuous guidance, and support in making smarter decisions that optimize your performance over time.

Analysis and Feedback

  • Review of training weeks, workload, recovery, and progression in Trainingpeaks

  • Guidance around key decisions – periodization, race planning, training camps, volume / intensity balance, peaking strategies, etc.

  • Feedback on key sessions, threshold values, and physiological development trends.

  • Recommendations for adjustments or priorities moving forward.

Consultation and Support

  • Discussions around nutrition, strength training, mental strategies, and life balance within elite sport.

  • Access to the test center for physiological follow-ups (e.g., threshold, VO₂max, body composition, strength/plyometrics) at a reduced rate.

Endurance Testing / Profiling

Endurance Performance Testing

  • Selection of test protocols and equipment based on your individual objectives – from sprint to long-distance performance.

Strength Testing / Profiling

a comprehensive suite of strength and power assessments designed to evaluate your neuromuscular performance and identify areas for improvement relevant to endurance and multi-sport athletes.

Strength Performance Testing

  • Selection of specific test protocols and equipment based on your objectives – whether the focus is on raw strength, explosive power, or sprint performance.

  • Maximal speed testing (sprint) to assess acceleration, stride mechanics, and peak velocity.

  • Strength assessments (1RM tests) for key lifts such as squat, deadlift, or press variations to determine maximal force output.

  • Explosive power testing using Countermovement Jump (CMJ), Drop Jumps/Reactive Strength Index (RSI), and Squat Jumps to analyze reactive and concentric power capabilities.

Data Analysis & Feedback

  • Detailed interpretation of test results to identify strengths, weaknesses, and asymmetries.

Johan andersson

Johan has 25+ years’ experience of endurance training, racing and coaching and has raced more than 15 IM's. First Ironman in 1997 and then spent the next 15 years adventure racing at an international level around the globe with Team Silva.

Johan has been doing 1-1 coaching, lactate testing and profiling athletes since 2015 and has/are coaching athletes with wins and podium placings at Pro-level and Age group-level in long distance triathlon, 70.3, olympic, sprint, Xterra World Championship and Nordic Multisport Championships.
